Good Garden is a mobile app concept designed to encourage people to grow their own food and integrate it into their everyday cooking. The app aims to make gardening more approachable for beginners by providing simple guidance, plant recommendations, and tools to track the growing process. By connecting gardening with recipes and meal preparation, the app helps users make practical use of the food they grow. Ultimately, Good Garden promotes a more sustainable relationship with food by reducing waste and encouraging home-grown ingredients.

Overview
Good Garden was one of my first major university projects and an important introduction to the UX design process. The goal was to create an app that encourages users to grow their own food and incorporate it into everyday cooking. Early in the project, my initial concept leaned too heavily toward gamification, resembling a game-like gardening experience that ultimately didn’t translate into a practical user solution. Through research and iteration, I learned the importance of grounding ideas in user needs. This project strengthened my understanding of the research phase and helped me develop better communication and collaboration skills when working with stakeholders.
